C is for Cup

Ok, so I'm late again and it's a mug, not a cup, but I had to show off this new-found rescued mug from my parents' house.

Cup (mug, you get the idea)

Why, right? Why rescue this cup/mug? I love tea. And this mug is really big. I'd say it holds more than 20 ounces. Upwards of 80 inches of snow has fallen so far this winter, and it's only February. That calls for a lot of tea. This mug makes me giggle, too.

The house across the street from us has fake deer in the yard as decoration. When the last folks moved out and left the deer, we (my husband and I) wondered what the new people would do with the deer. Surely they would get rid of them.

Finally one day, months after moving in, they spent a great deal of time over there where the deer were. They spray painted them a new shade of brown! And left them in the yard! I can't believe that two residents in a row would love fake deer so much.

Your beauteous mug made me thing of those deer that I get to enjoy out my front window every day. Thank you.

Hope everyone is feeling better.

I'd like a little of your snow!

Is the mug dimensional? It looks pretty cool! I can see why you saved it!

When I look at that mug, it reminds me of an old German beer stein. Maybe a stein maker's wife wanted a big mug for tea and this is what he came up with.
